Surrey Police and Surrey Search and Rescue had been searching the riverside near Platt’s Eyot after a man in his 40s was reported missing.
The body was recovered near Sadlers Ride on Saturday afternoon.
Formal identification is pending, but friends of 41-year-old Darius have been informed.
Police say his death is not being treated as suspicious.
