The council delivers Level 1 and 2 Bikeability courses in schools.
More than 2,500 Year 6 pupils across the borough have taken part in the scheme between April last year and March this year.
Bikeability is designed to reduce casualties among child cyclists, show them how to look after their bikes and encourage cycling.
