The Lib Dem leader says he will boycott President Donald Trump’s state banquet next month.

Kingston and Surbiton MP Sir Ed Davey says he fears the US president will get a lavish dinner and nobody will push him to end the war in Gaza.

Mr Davey says he wants to show Donald Trump and Keir Starmer that they cannot “wish away the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.”

He tells Jackie News he’s doing exactly what people want with regards to ending the war there.
