A flotilla of boats will set sail on Saturday as part of activities to mark the 1100th anniversary of the crowning of King Athelstan in the town.
Louise Footner with Kingston Council says the event is designed to celebrate the Thames’s integral role in the borough.
The Kingston River Cultures Festival will take place on Saturday the 6th of September from 12 noon.
