World tennis number one Jannik Sinner has pulled out of the mixed doubles at the US Open due to illness.

The Wimbledon champion had to retire from the Cincinnati Open final against Carlos Alcaraz as he was unwell.

The Italian was due to partner Katerina Siniakova.
