An Epsom & Ewell FC supporter says the reason for his lifetime ban from club matches is shrouded in secrecy.

58-year-old Richard Lambert has followed The Salts for 44 years and was their media officer at one point.

He admits he upset the committee by changing his personal X account name to appear as though it was the official club account.

But Richard says he feels this is now a personal vendetta against him.

The Football Supporters’ Association has undertaken mediation between the club and Mr Lambert but was unable to resolve the issue.

Epsom & Ewell FC told us “we do not want to discuss this any further as the matter has been dealt with.”
