A former NHS nurse will set off from Twickenham Stadium this afternoon to take on 10 back-to-back wheelchair “ultra-marathons.”

Lexi Chambers will travel 322 miles through various towns and cities before arriving at The Stadium of Light in Sunderland on the 20th.

Lexi has fibromyalgia and complex regional pain syndrome, with the latter resulting in her leg being amputated.

BA: Lexi will deliver the official match whistle for the opening game of Women’s Rugby World Cup in Sunderland on the 22nd of August.
