That’s from Richmond Council after concern was raised about upcoming Environment Agency works.
The EA has advised of plans for two temporary towpath closures: one at Ham Street car park, and one underneath the lock bridge.
But the council says these closures will be short-term, with clearly signposted diversion routes in place.
Work start-dates are to be confirmed.
