Police are boosting their presence in Kingston to tackle rising thefts and robberies.

Kingston is one of six London town centres receiving 90 additional officers in new or expanded teams.

The moves are backed by extra funding from City Hall and the Home Office to reduce crime and improve community safety.

The Met has already seen falls in knife crime, burglary, robbery, and shoplifting this year across London.
