Police were called after the animal was found injured on the central reservation just before 10.30am on Monday the 14th of July.
Officers briefly held traffic to safely capture the cub, which had an injured leg, and took it to a vet for treatment.
The animal, just a few weeks old, is expected to be transferred to a wildlife sanctuary to recover.
