The leaders of Croydon, Kingston, Wandsworth, and Hounslow are demanding a greater role in London’s devolution.

The cross party is backing a proposal for a ‘Combined Board’ to give boroughs a more formal role alongside Mayor, Sir Sadiq Khan.

Councillors argue that the current system slows progress and limits individual authority input.

They say the upcoming English Devolution Bill is a key chance to ensure boroughs have a say in major decisions in their community.
