One of Britain’s most wanted fugitives has been found guilty of dozens of historic child sex offences.
80-year-old Richard Burrows had been on the run in Thailand for 27 years, before his arrest at Heathrow Airport in March last year.
The former scoutmaster abused boys in Cheshire and the West Midlands between the mid-1960s and mid-90s.
James Harvey was one of his victims.
Cheshire Police Detective Eli Atkinson says before flying back, Burrows told his brother that “not all paedophiles are the same”.
