West End theatres will dim their lights in honour of Dame Joan Plowright.

The renowned actress, whom Scunthorpe’s Plowright Theatre was named after, died yesterday at the age of 95.

She was married to Lord Laurence Olivier and won two Golden Globes and a Tony Award.
