20 year old Nandito Badea and 24 year old George Stana from Romania, are charged with wounding with intent.
Pouria Zeraati, who was working for television channel Iran International, was stabbed in the leg as he left his home last March.
The defendants appeared at the Old Bailey by video link from Belmarsh prison and were remanded in custody.
