The Court of Appeal’s been told judges who oversaw proceedings about Sara Sharif before her murder are very worried about their safety if they’re now named.

Last month it was ruled the media couldn’t identify three judges involved in cases of the 10-year-old, who was killed at her home in Woking in 2023.

Social workers weren’t identified either, but now several organisations are challenging that ban on transparency grounds.
