Richmond Park’s MP says she won’t be putting up further opposition to plans to move children’s cancer services to central London.

The government decided in March that they would be relocated from The Royal Marsden and St George’s to The Evelina at Waterloo.

12,000 people signed a petition against the plan and Lib Dem MP, Sarah Olney, says she still thinks it’s the wrong move.

But after a meeting with Health Secretary Wes Streeting, she says opposing the decision would only delay “an inevitable move.”
