Officers were called to Fleur Jewellery on the High Street after reports a silver Range Rover Evoque had crashed into the shopfront.
Two men went inside and left after a couple of minutes, jumping into a getaway vehicle, reported to be a white car driven by a third suspect.
No one was inside the shop at the time of the robbery.
