Smoking will cause around 36,700 cancer cases in London over the next five years if trends continue.

That’s according to new analysis by Cancer Research UK.

The charity is urging London’s MPs to vote in favour of the Tobacco and Vapes Bill in the House of Commons tomorrow.

The landmark Bill seeks to make it illegal to sell tobacco to anyone born on or after the 1st of January 2009.
