Sutton’s Lib Dem MP says the National Insurance contribution increase won’t just affect businesses.

Chancellor Rachel Reeves announced a rise in employers’ NICs from 13.8% to 15% in the Budget.

The threshold for paying the contributions was also lowered to £5,000.

Luke Taylor says a minimum wage increase is “brilliant” but there are also negatives to the decision.
