Images have surfaced online of the first new Piccadilly Line Tube train covered in graffiti.
The incident is understood to have happened early on Monday near Clapham after it arrived from the Siemens factory in Vienna.
The train is one of 94 new ones bought as part of a £2 billion upgrade of the Piccadilly Line.
British Transport Police is appealing for witnesses to come forward.
