People in Oxshott say proposed plans to demolish and rebuild part of the High Street’s shopping parade are not in keeping with the area.

Heath Buildings wants to erect a detached three-storey building comprising 9 flats and 4 commercial units.

It would feature front balconies, resident’s parking and a gymnasium.

Elmbridge Borough councillors have referred the application to be decided at a full planning committee later in the year.
