Richmond Council are waiving the costs for street closures to help residents celebrate Car Free Day on Sunday 22nd September.
Residents will have the chance to close their roads to through traffic for up to four hours across the weekend.
The council also hope to encourage residents to leave the car at home and explore active travel options this month.
It’s in honour of the NHS’s Ask About Asthma campaign, which is raising awareness of the impact air pollution can have on lung health.
