A basketball team in Richmond have partnered with Cancer Research UK to host the very first Under 12s national championship.

The Cancerbae Classic sees 12 teams across the country competing at the Essex Sport Area whilst raising money for charity.

31 year old Coach and tournament host Will Wise was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in 2022, halting his professional basketball career.

Also a media ambassador for Cancer Research UK, he hopes the championship will continue to raise awareness.
