New Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca believes it’s just a “matter of time” before they can start challenging at the top of the Premier League again.

His side begin the season at home to champions Manchester City this afternoon, after a sixth-place finish in the previous campaign under Mauricio Pochettino.

Maresca says competing with the likes of City and title hopefuls Arsenal will require patience.
