The force says it wants to relocate when the interim lease for Wray Park Reigate, where it is currently, temporarily based, ends.
The force purchased land in Cleeve Road in Leatherhead in 2018 with a view to building a new HQ there.
But costs meant the team took the decision to retain Mount Browne, in Guildford.
The Leatherhead site is still on the commercial market.
The of RAAC concrete was discovered in the construction of Reigate Police Station in September.
The Force says it is considering its options for the Eastern Division which comprises Reigate & Banstead, Epsom & Ewell, Mole Valley, and Tandridge.
