More than 500 households in Richmond have been told they could be entitled to extra cash.

The council has sent letters to those it says are eligible for increased monthly payments under the Attendance Allowance scheme.

This is additional income pensioners who need help with care can apply for.  

You are eligible if you have a disability or illness, including mental and physical disabilities or you have someone looking after you.
