The new look Putney library has officially re-opened on the 125th anniversary of its opening in 1899.

It includes a refurbished children’s library and a new Start-Up Wandsworth co-working space.

The opening follows the completion of the new Wandsworth Town Library and Northcote Library.

Last year there was over a million visits to Wandsworth borough’s libraries, an increase of 17 per cent on the year before.
