Surrey’s six new Lib Dem MPs have written to the CEO of Thames Water calling for a meeting about the state of the county’s rivers.

The Lib Dem ‘yellow wall’ says it is focussed on cleaning up the area’s waterways as it promised to in its manifesto.

Issues detailed in the open letter to Chris Weston include sewage overflow and infrastructure.

Esher and Walton’s new MP, Monica Harding, is one of the signatories.
