Gavin Plumb, from Harlow in Essex, was convicted after a jury dismissed his defence that detailed plans shared with an undercover cop online had simply been a “fantasy”.
Speaking outside court last week, Detective Chief Inspector Greg Wood, who led the investigation, says it was a calculated and carefully thought-out decision.
