Fulham’s midfielder Joao Palhinha has completed his move to Bayern Munich for an initial fee of £42 million.

The Portugal international joined the west London club for £17 million from Sporting Lisbon in 2022.

Palhinha, who was Fulham’s player of the year during his opening season, says the move is the happiest day of his life.
