Battersea Dog’s Home is reminding people not to leave their pets in a car alone.

Although temperatures have dipped slightly, the charity says they can change quickly and drastically.

This means cars can easily become “fatally hot” over the summer months.

People who see a dog in distress in a car are being told to dial 999.
