An image of a swan taking flight across Bushy Park has been crowned winner of a junior photography competition.

Named Flying Free, it was captured by Matthew Hill and claimed first place in the Under 15s category.

The Royal Parks charity launched its competition, ‘Creating Spaces for Life’, earlier this year.

Hundreds of entries were split between a number of categories and numerous winners were chosen.
