Surrey detectives have praised victims of abuse who gave evidence against 52 year old Wayne Bentley.
Bentley, from Sutton, is beginning 18 years behind bars
He was convicted of 13 charges including gross indecency, indecent assault and two counts of rape committed against a girl under 13.
The offences took place between 1986 and 1998 with one survivor telling how all her memories had been tarnished by fear and anxiety.
Investigating officer DC Michael Barker said he hoped the verdict would help the survivors of Bentley’s predatory attacks move forward.
