The bodies of five dogs and foxes have been found floating in an ornamental garden pond in Epsom.

They were discovered on Sunday 9th June and believed to be a mix of young terrier type dogs and juvenile foxes.

An RSPCA Animal Rescue Officer Ben Fitzcosta believes the cause of death appears to have been drowning with no other injuries.

The RSPCA is appealing for witnesses who saw anything suspicious in the area over the weekend to get in touch with them.
