A novelist from Sunbury is celebrating the release of her fourth novel.

The House In The Water by Victoria Darke is described as a gothic, romantic ghost story.

It’s set on a fictional Thames Island near Weybridge, inspired by the real life D’Oyly Carte island.

Victoria also lives on an island and says her own experiences shaped her latest novel.
