73 year old Stephen Maloney pleaded guilty to child cruelty and outraging public decency.
In March 2022, police were notified about a report of a teacher carrying out a lewd act during an online lesson with a student.
A search of his electronic devices found inappropriate images which appeared to have been taken within a school environment.
As well as the 11 months, he’s also subject to a sexual harm prevention order for five years.
