24 year old Sahil Sharma has been sentenced to a minimum of 15 years behind bars for the murder of 19 year old Mehak Sharma.
Sahil called 999 and said he had killed his wife at their home on Ash Tree Way just after 16:15pm on the 29th of October last year.
Officers found Mehak unresponsive; she had suffered catastrophic knife injuries to her neck and was pronounced dead 20 minutes later.
