Tributes are being paid to a former firefighter and Hounslow councillor who has died.

Leslie Bawn represented Hanworth Ward between 1990 and 1994 and then Feltham South between 1998 and 2002.

He was also Mayor of the borough in 1993.

A black ribbon has been placed around the Hounslow Council flag in main reception at Hounslow House.
