A rescuer at the Swan Sanctuary is asking the Royal Family to join his campaign to ban catapults.

Danni Rogers wants police to be able to arrest those carrying the devices regardless of if ammunition is found or not.

He says a spate of recent attacks on birds has made him passionate about the cause.

The monarch has the right to claim ownership to any mute swan.
