Officers were called to the scene at around 6.40pm last night.
The woman was taken to hospital where she died.
The death is not being treated as suspicious at this time.
Surrey Police appeal:
Were you in the area between 6.30pm and 6.45pm? Did you see a White woman in her 80s wearing a dark hooded puffed coat, red long-sleeved top, black leggings, and black sheepskin boots in the area? A grey Toyota Yaris believed to belong to her was found nearby. Did you see this being driven to the area near Walton Bridge?
