It comes as Border Force decided to ballot for strike action as well as SAS airline grounding 18 of its planes.

The PCS Union says 600 members, who carry out immigration control, voted overwhelmingly for industrial action.

The airliner say their pilots are grounded until ‘expired parts have been replaced’.
