Hounslow Council is taking part in a safety campaign to encourage people to watch their drinking and “keep a lid on their night out.”

The authority says it’s in response to national reports of drink-spiking.

Specially designed drinks coasters are being distributed across the borough which display a warning safety message.

They can cover a glass when it’s not being used and have a QR code on the reverse directing people to an online hub to report spiking.
