Seven-time Wimbledon Champion Novak Djokovic says he doesn’t always follow the same routine during the Australian Open.

The first Grand Slam event of the year begins in Melbourne this morning, with Djokovic tipped as the favourite.

It’s a competition the Serb has won ten times, and he begins his quest for an 11th this morning against Croatia’s Dino Prizmic.

But the 36-year-old says that he does carry out some traditions, including walks on the beach, for good fortune.
