With New Year’s eve approaching ambulance crews covering Surrey have appealed for the public to call 999 only in emergencies.
The South East Coast Ambulance service, which covers Surrey, Kent and Sussex, says crews are under greater pressure over the festive period.
They’ve Asked the public to be sensible and call 101 unless an illness or injury appears to be life-threatening.
They ay these would include heart attacks, heavy bleeding, unconsciousness, sudden shortness of breath or traumatic spinal, back or neck pin.
