There’s still disruption on London’s newest tube line, the Elizabeth Line, today.

It’s after thousands of commuters heading between Paddington and Heathrow were stuck on cold, dark trains for hours last night.

Damage was caused to overhead electricity wires after a train struck an obstruction meaning power had to be switched off.

Trains were eventually evacuated with passengers walking along railway tracks to safety.
