They want to speak to Jack Hill, believed to be aged 22, in connection with the murder of 45-year-old David Ackerley from the area.
David was reported missing on the 8th of October, officers found him dead at an address on Cedar Court; they believe he was assaulted.
Also known as Jimmy Brazil, Jack is white, around 6ft 2, has hazel eyes, dark blond hair and a surgical scar on his right wrist.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact police on 101.
Detective Chief Inspector Geoff Grogan said: “David’s grieving family have many questions about what happened to him, and we are now trying to provide them with answers.
“A man has lost his life and it’s important that we uncover what happened to get justice for David and his family.
“This is why it’s really important that anyone who knows the whereabouts of Jack Hill, or has any information that might help us with our investigations, should get in touch.
