On Wednesday, the new car ferry across Lake Constance entered service between Konstanz and Meersburg.
The huge state of the art, environmentally friendly ship was christened ‘Richmond’ by the Mayor of Richmond upon Thames Councillor Suzette Nicholson in June this year.
