A 15-year-old girl’s been stabbed to death on her way to school – something police say is “every parent’s worst nightmare”.

It happened by a bus in Croydon this morning – one witness says people were “screaming and crying”.

Local MP, Labour’s Sarah Jones, says she can’t imagine what the victim’s relatives are going through.

A boy aged 17 is in custody.

Detectives say they’re not looking for anyone else.
