The Bridge is expected to re-open to all forms of traffic on October 1st, once its crucial ‘bearings’ have been replaced.
They allow the bridge to flex and absorb movement during hot and icy spells of weather.
The bridge will be fully closed on Monday night from 11pm to 5am to allow this work to be carried out safely.
