Cricket fans in Croydon are going to have access to four new non-turf pitches.

It’s thanks to a partnership between the Croydon Council, the English Cricket Board and Surrey Cricket.

The pitches are being installed at Green Lane Sports Ground, John Ruskin and Purley Way Playing Fields and Rickman Hill Rec.

The aim is to make cricket more accessible and encourage more participation.
